This study investigated the use of Articulated (spoken aloud) Thought (AT) as a method of addressing the perceived weaknesses in the REBT model''s transferability for clients from the clinical to real world settings. These data suggest there was no overall difference between the training and control groups on Emotional Intelligence or Social Problem Solving scales. There was an overall main effect by Time. This increase was significant only for the Training group. Improvement did not differ by Age or Sex on Post-test scores. An assumption could be drawn from the collected data that a continual increase in Emotional Intelligence and Social Problem Solving scores may have been realized, if the study had continued for a longer period of Time.

I was somewhat skeptical of using the term ""homosexually developing adolescent,"" fearing our culture''s traditional panic response to the words homosexual and adolescent used in the same breath. Additionally, it would be considered an outrage to use the words homosexuality and child in such close proximity. The implication being that all normal children develop within a heterosexual model - homosexuality being something of an enigma, a manifestation occurring only in adulthood. The phrase homosexually developing adolescent is proposed as a way of identifying the fact that the rules of attachment are established very early in life. If we don''t begin to recognize this dynamic, developmental process as naturally occurring within the framework of child development, we will be preventing the normal development of all children, heterosexual and homosexual.

The term chap-book was formalized by bibliophiles of the 19th century, as a variety of ephemera (disposable printed material), popular or folk literature.
