"Fire-Hunter" is the story of Hawk, a pre-historic man exiled from his tribe for violating the tribal law by inventing a spear-launching tool. He is left with Willow, an injured young woman also banished by the tribe because of her incapability to travel in the nomadic lifestyle.

"Trading Jeff and his Dog" is an incredible story about Jeff Tarrant, an ambitious young man who travelled from town to town as a salesman. Like most of Kjelgaard''s novels, this one too has a dog of mixed breeds orphaned when his human dies under dubious circumstances. After some wandering, he falls in with Tarrant, and they both become fast friends. From there started a series of adventures.

"The Spell of the White Sturgeon" is a thrilling fishing story. It''s an incredible coming-of-age story of a young man, Ramsay Cartou, making his way north from Chicago to find work in Wisconsin. Things take a turn when his boat sinks during a storm on Lake Michigan. Ramsay arrives ashore with the help of a horse, ready and excited for the job at a tannery, but cannot force himself to work under the tannery boss. He finds shelter with a farmer and eventually learns to be a fisherman on Lake Michigan.

"Wolf Brother" is an incredible novel about Jonathan, an out-and-out Hawk Apache who returns to his tribe after spending six years in the white man''s schools. The amusing characters in this work make it an entertaining read for the young ones.

This work is a captivating coming-of-age story of a young orphan sent to a farm. Young Bud Sloan, who lived in an orphanage, gets adopted by an old couple in the countryside. Soon after he arrives in his new home, he finds a black fawn, which seems was without either mother or father like Sloan. It''s a wonderful book to learn about wildlife, the ways of the woods, and history.

Excavating Stephen King: A Darwinist Hermeneutic Study of the Fiction combines approaches from science and literary theory to examine the canon of Stephen King’s fiction work in a single critical study. A general principle, discovered by Robert Langlands and named by him the "functoriality principle," predicts relations between automorphic forms on arithmetic subgroups of different reductive groups. Langlands functoriality relates the eigenvalues of Hecke operators acting on the automorphic forms on two groups (or the local factors of the "automorphic representations" generated by them). In the few instances where such relations have been probed, they have led to deep arithmetic consequences. This book studies one of the simplest general problems in the theory, that of relating automorphic forms on arithmetic subgroups of GL(n,E) and GL(n,F) when E/F is a cyclic extension of number fields. (This is known as the base change problem for GL(n).) The problem is attacked and solved by means of the trace formula. The book relies on deep and technical results obtained by several authors during the last twenty years. It could not serve as an introduction to them, but, by giving complete references to the published literature, the authors have made the work useful to a reader who does not know all the aspects of the theory of automorphic forms.

Within the Langlands program, endoscopy is a fundamental process for relating automorphic representations of one group with those of another. In this book, Arthur establishes an endoscopic classification of automorphic representations of orthogonal and symplectic groups . The representations are shown to occur in families (known as global -packets and -packets), which are parametrized by certain self-dual automorphic representations of an associated general linear group . The central result is a simple and explicit formula for the multiplicity in the automorphic discrete spectrum of for any representation in a family. The results of the volume have already had significant applications: to the local Langlands correspondence, the construction of unitary representations, the existence of Whittaker models, the analytic behaviour of Langlands -functions, the spectral theory of certain locally symmetric spaces, and to new phenomena for symplectic epsilon-factors. One can expect many more. In fact, it is likely that both the results and the techniques of the volume will have applications to almost all sides of the Langlands program. The methods are by comparison of the trace formula of with its stabilization (and a comparison of the twisted trace formula of with its stabilization, which is part of work in progress by Moeglin and Waldspurger). This approach is quite different from methods that are based on -functions, converse theorems, or the theta correspondence. The comparison of trace formulas in the volume ought to be applicable to a much larger class of groups. Any extension at all will have further important implications for the Langlands program.
