Manuscripts and photocopies collected by Davies while researching and writing a biography entitled, "George Beard, Mormon Pioneer Artist with a Camera," privately published, ca. 1974. Collection includes Beard''s memoirs and correspondence, news clippings and biographies about him, a transcript of his funeral service, Beard family histories, photographs, and a short color film made by KSL-TV regarding Beard''s life. Papers include materials authored by Lovenia Bullock Beard, Edna Beard Taylor, Glenn Beard Lee and Gladys Beard Wainwright.
