C'est la finale entre les Tigers et les Dreams. L'écart entre les deux équipes est grand, mais les Tigers donnent tout ce qu'ils peuvent. Après le match, les entraînements, menés par Togawa, s'intensifient, provoquant la grogne des membres des Tigers. Finalement, l'équipe est dissoute, un choc pour Togawa qui le même jour reçoit une lettre de la fédération de basket-ball en fauteuil roulant!

Kazuo Shiratori, le Scorpion, est bien déterminé à faire son retour sur le ring de catch, malgré le fait qu'il n'a plus le plein usage de ses jambes. Takahashi est dans la foule et peut à peine voir ça. Mais découvrir la force de Shiratori qui tente l'impossible pourrait finalement ouvrir une fenêtre dans l'esprit de Takahashi, qui sait ?

Takahashi décide finalement de reprendre un ballon en main. Mais il découvre vite que le handi-basket-ball est complètement différent du basket-ball ordinaire, et il devra tout recommencer à partir des fondamentaux. Est-ce que son ego sera suffisamment en sourdine pour lui permettre de redécouvrir sa vraie passion !?

Alors que Takahashi refuse toujours d'accepter son handicap, sa mère doit être hospitalisée suite à un malaise. C'est le père du jeune homme, absent depuis 8 ans, qui doit maintenant s'occuper de lui. Nomiya, quant à lui, soutien de toutes ses forces l'équipe des Tigers dont Togawa assure l'entraînement en vue des éliminatoires du tournoi national de handi-basket.
