This is my third book of Poetry reflecting my thoughts on life experiences based upon my Christian faith and my own humanity. Poems on The Book of Revelation fill the centrepages. The Poem "The State of Nothing" is my interpetation of a state where nothing exists. The poems on Revelation are, for Christians, the contradictory evidence, offering us the hope and certainty for our future in Him.

Paul Rogers account of his own life is compelling and factual. In his own words he describes how he went from a normal, everyday hard working person, to being visited by an Angel who gave him a message that would alter his life forever and then discovering his new found abilities as a Medium. From there he would have a chance meeting with renowned psychic and ghost investigator Peter James, who would become his mentor. His pursuit of the unexplained would take him into many households where residents who are desperate to remove the invading ghost, would contact him in a last ditch effort to bring back normal and peaceful living conditions. Along the way he takes on ghosts that attack at night or during the day. Homes with so many ghosts that the homeowners felt suffocated and scared for their lives. His daring attitude and fearlessness would take him into an abandoned hospital, an antique warehouse and to the State of Missouri where he would go to a house to take on the dead owner''s ghost. He would also help by emotionally healing people who are despondent over losing a loved one, by contacting their loved one and communicating with them. And lastly in his own words his own true ghost story, which left him and his wife unnerved during a peaceful weekend retreat.

The war on terror is a lost cause. As the war heads towards its second decade, American security policy is in disarray – the Iraq War is a disaster, Afghanistan is deeply insecure and the al-Qaida movement remains as potent as ever with new generations of leaders coming to the fore. Well over 100,000 civilians have died in Iraq and Afghanistan, many tens of thousands have been detained without trial, and torture, prisoner abuse and rendition have sullied the reputation of the United States and its coalition partners. Why We’re Losing the War on Terror examines the reasons for the failure, focusing on American political and military attitudes, the impact of 9/11, the fallacy of a New American Century, the role of oil and, above all, the consummate failure to go beyond a narrow western view of the world. The z/OS® Distributed File Service zSeries® File System (zFS) is a z/OS UNIX® file system that can be used like the Hierarchical File System (HFS). zFS file systems contain files and directories, including Access Control Lists (ACLs), that can be accessed with the z/OS HFS application programming interfaces (APIs). zFS file systems can be mounted into the z/OS UNIX hierarchy along with other local or remote file system types (for example, HFS, TFS, AUTOMNT, NFS, and so on). zFS does not replace HFS, but it is the z/OS UNIX strategic file system and IBM® recommends migrating HFS file systems to zFS. Beginning with z/OS V1R7, there are no restrictions for file system structures that should be kept as HFS instead of zFS. A major goal of operating systems is to process jobs while making the best use of system resources. Thus, one way of viewing operating systems is as resource managers. Before job processing, operating systems reserve input and output resources for jobs. During job processing, operating systems manage resources such as processors and storage. After job processing, operating systems free all resources used by the completed jobs, making the resources available to other jobs. This process is called resource management. There is more to the processing of jobs than the managing of resources needed by the jobs. At any instant, a number of jobs can be in various stages of preparation, processing, and post-processing activity. To use resources efficiently, operating systems divide jobs into parts. They distribute the parts of jobs to queues to wait for needed resources. Keeping track of where things are and routing work from queue to queue is called workflow management, and is a major function of any operating system.
