GRIT(TM) Program on Mindset -- Standalone Access Card
GRIT((tm)) Program on Mindset consists of the GRIT Gauge((tm)) pre- and post-assessment, assignments, and implementation tools that enhance and grow the quality and quantity of GRIT. It is in partnership with Dr. Paul G. Stoltz, grounded in his validated, research-based model for teaching and growing GRIT mindset (Growth, Resilience, Instinct, Tenacity, and Robustness). The Student Report with GRIT Gauge results provides normed scores for the different components of GRIT, and explanations of what the scores mean and exercises and tips for improving these scores. Activities and exercises offer application for this framework and assessment, helping students grow or build their GRIT through journaling, goal setting, and GRIT-specific actions. They have the ability to earn three Acclaim badges in GRIT, in Completion, Qualitative, and Experiential levels to demonstrate GRIT. Our instructional materials include an Instructor Implementation Guide and Sample Assignments. The Implementation Guide support how to use the GRIT curriculum within. The Sample Assignments show how others have ''gritified'' their assignments. Any discipline or curriculum with the goal to develop or infuse ''grit'' can adopt this Program.
