It is often said "everyone has a good story inside them" but, not many actually write a book. This may well be because of doubt and lack of confidence or a firm belief it would be a complete waste of time. Many famous authors have written books giving advice on how to write a book. I am not a famous author and I am not giving advice. This is a biography of how my story became a book. It took 23 years. It documents my fears, doubts and the non-belief in myself and how I finally overcame them; inspiration comes in very strange ways. Once I had completed my work, I embarked on the mission to get it published; I made many mistakes. This work is intended to encourage would-be writers by detailing all the issues that befell me in my endeavour to see my story in print.
