However, Jason is not nearly as secretive about his distaste for roguish political practices, religious disobedience, and the breakdown of an ardent society. All of the poems in the collection were written in a four-year span, beginning in Jasonas sophomore year of high school and culminating in his freshman year of college. Jason was born in 1986 in Roanoke, Virginia, and he is currently still living in his hometown while attending Roanoke College.
