This book chronicles my journey to uncover novel artistic voices. Specifically, it describes my voyage to discover fresh visual languages that manifest into new projects. Experimenting with new moves, both literally and figuratively, are a recurring source of joy. Indeed, the assortment of characters and creatures which emerge from my hand bring my animated and often humorous imagination to life. In moments of serendipity, my visions translate into lines and shapes, which then are transferred to paper and brough to life with vibrant colors that cature movement and rhythm. In this way, a picture-book spontaneously emerges.
