Apparsi per la prima volta nel 1985 e ora arricchiti dalle illustrazioni di Sergio Ruzzier, questi otto perfidamente deliziosi raccontini ci mostrano con pungente sagacia che essere un bambino perfetto è una bella cosa, ma ci si perde tutto il divertimento. Ruby è affidabile (per così dire). Arthur è attento (più o meno). Harry mangia le carote (sempre che ci si metta d''accordo su cosa si intende per mangiare). Gloria aiuta la mamma (esagerando un pochino), come tutti i bambini perfetti (davvero?)

Considerata ormai un classico della letteratura per ragazzi, questa raccolta di favole, impreziosite ora dalle illustrazioni di Sergio Ruzzier, hanno morali che forse non si possono propriamente definire morali. Ma non ha importanza: casomai basta non prestarci troppa attenzione.
