Baal was part of a righteous and spiritual order of elders on the planet Syrus. He believed in the order at first as he kept the laws and maintained order in the universe. Martinsville Fire & EMS has recently completed a new Air Track Management (ATM) training program. The problem is that in order to implement these fog nozzle tactics, operational changes are needed within Martinsville Fire & EMS. The purpose of this applied research project was to identify what changes are necessary within the department to effectively implement new ATM fog nozzle tactics. This project used the action research methodology to answer five research questions.

The procedures used were: (a) contacting other departments about their home safety inspection programs and (b) a study of the census tracts in the City of Martinsville to determine which geographic areas had the highest fire risk. The recommendations resulting from the research were: (a) firefighters should be used to conduct the home inspections, (b) Martinsville census tracts two and four should receive the highest concentration of effort, (c) the inspections should be based on the framework of NFPA 1452, (d) the home inspections should be promoted on multiple levels based on geographic fire risk, and (e) the department should maintain written and electronic records of the inspections.
