Im Schneegestöber macht sich das Mädchen mit den Tieren auf die Suche nach der Bärenmutter, bis sie sie findet. Nun kuscheln alle zusammen in der Höhle und haben damit den wärmsten Platz der Wildnis. Das Mädchen steht für eine mutige, eigenwillige Auseinandersetzung mit der Aussenwelt, es weiss sich zu helfen und findet seinen eigenen Weg.
