The bulk of the collection comprises an alphabetical sequence of undated manuscript music belonging to Reg Lewis and Barbara James, mainly by other composers. The music manuscripts contain a small amount of original music by Lewis and Barbara James including "Between you and us" (1958), "Cafe Theme" (1957), "Mr and Mrs Travel", and "My Theme" as well as undated original music by Will James, including "Be happy while you may", "He loves me I know", "Incidental music", "March", "My dream of Killarney" and miscellaneous sketches. The collection also includes lists of song titles, music lyrics, notes, radio scripts of "Between you and us" (1956-57), a piano roll and cuttings on musical arranging.
