Days on the Beach

release date: Aug 01, 2009
Days on the Beach
Oakland PD Officers Bull Brewster and Tex-Mex Garcia get the job done... ...but on their terms. Whether it''s a madcap chase with stolen cars or a night on the town with a pair of "working girls," the rogue officers never let threat of disciplinary action get in their way as they cement their reps as irreverent street cops-they just take their DAYS ON THE BEACH, and then get back to business. Brewster and Tex-Mex aren''t the only action on the mean streets of Oakland, however. The city is on edge as a sociopathic pair cuts a savage swath. Rape and murder cases stack up, but law enforcement''s frantic search is stymied until some good, old-fashioned gumshoe detective work leads to a high noon face-off. AUTHOR BIO:After thirty-one years of service, John Taylor retired from the Oakland Police Department in 2002 and now makes his home in a small town in Northern California.
