Bad was back off in the wind since his now infamous shootout with Zek, that Tanya told the whole world about and resulted in the death of Killa, a/k/a Qwai Asadullah Shakur, b/k/n Jonas Stevens. Not to mention, Lyndra really was pregnant when he got out and Nyah was off in college at the University of Arizona, in Tempe Arizona. She wrote to him as promised and begged him to move to Arizona with her. She rented a two-bedroom apartment close to campus that she shared with two other co-eds. They all knew about Ant Man and couldn''t wait to meet him. What the hell am I going to do now, Ant Man thought to himself. He couldn''t'' go back to the projects right now. See, he was officially taking refuge at this auntie Roni''s house in Culver City, CA. Ant Man knew that showing his face in the Jordan Downs would be suicide at this point. You never went to war without any money, so he stood no chance at this point. Examining the Thoughts and Actions of Harry Potter Through the Lens of Erik Erikson's Psychosocial Stages

release date: Jan 01, 2010
Examining the Thoughts and Actions of Harry Potter Through the Lens of Erik Erikson's Psychosocial Stages
J.K. Rowling''s Harry Potter novels are a coming-of-age story of a young wizard who learns and determines who he is amidst challenging and perilous circumstances. In this dissertation I look at all the Harry Potter novels from a literary criticism perspective. I examine the thoughts and actions of Harry Potter through the lens of Erik Erikson''s psychosocial stages. This dissertation draws on the theories of Erik Erikson, renowned developmental psychologist, who proposed that a person works through eight psychosocial stages during the course of a life to develop virtues necessary for healthy and successful emotional development. Harry Potter spends his formative years with relatives who horribly mistreat him. He is unable to develop any Eriksonian virtues due to his environmental deprivation. Harry Potter''s life changes when he is accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; for the first time he has surrogate parents, mentors, and friends who all genuinely care about him. There, Harry Potter is able to retroactively work through the stages in which he has deficits and to progress through the stages of the teen years. I trace the progression of Harry Potter through Erikson''s psychosocial stages, noting specific instances from the novels that illustrate his maturation from emotional ineptitude to emotional surety.
