Is it ever too late to leave the friend zone? Discover the heartwarming friends to lovers romance that became a sensation on TikTok—now with a new chapter and a Q&A with the author! The friend zone is not the end zone for Bree Camden, who is helplessly in love with her longtime best friend and extremely hot NFL legend, Nathan Donelson. The only problem is that she can’t admit her true feelings, because he clearly sees her as a best friend with no romantic potential, and the last thing Bree wants is to ruin their relationship. But those abs . . . Nope! Nothing but good old-fashioned, no-touching-the-sexiest-man-alive, platonic friendship for Bree. In any case, she has other things to worry about. After a car accident ended her chance at becoming a professional ballerina, Bree changed paths and now owns her own dance studio, with big dreams to expand it. But one more rent increase could mean the end of the studio entirely. Then, as usual, Nathan comes to the rescue and buys the entire building. A stubborn Bree is not happy about it and decides to rebel with a couple—okay, maybe more than a couple—of tequila shots. Then her plan backfires as she spills her deepest, darkest secret to a TMZ reporter. One viral video later, the world thinks Nathan and Bree are the perfect couple. Before they can really talk about her confession, Nathan’s publicist proposes a big opportunity that could mean financial security for Bree. The catch? They have to pretend to be in love. For three whole weeks. What will happen when Bree gives in to the feelings she’s been desperately hiding for so long, and could she be imagining that Nathan is actually enjoying it? Sarah Adams scores more than touchdowns in this exciting romantic comedy.

Music as Care: Artistry in the Hospital Environment

release date: May 29, 2021
Music as Care: Artistry in the Hospital Environment
This book provides an overview of professional musicians working within the healthcare system and explores programs that bring music into the environment of the hospital. Far from being onstage, musicians in the hospital provide musical engagement for patients and healthcare providers focused on life-and-death issues. Music in healthcare offers a new and growing area for musical careers, distinct from the field of music therapy in which music is engaged to advance defined clinical goals. Rather, this volume considers what happens when musicians interact with the clinical environment as artists, and how musical careers and artistic practices can develop through work in a hospital setting. It outlines the specialized skills and training required to navigate safely and effectively within the healthcare context. The contributors draw on their experiences with collaborations between the performing arts and medicine at Boston University/Boston Medical Center, University of Florida/UF Health Shands Hospital, and the Peabody Institute/Johns Hopkins Medicine. These experiences, as well as the experiences of artists spotlighted throughout the volume, offer stories of thriving artistic practices and collaborations that outline a new field for tomorrow''s musical artists.

AIR FRYER RECIPES 2021

release date: Feb 14, 2021
AIR FRYER RECIPES 2021
55% OFF for Booksellers!!! Do you crave fried foods but you''re wary of their effect on your waistline? You may want to consider adding the air fryer to your arsenal of kitchen tools. It''s a relatively new - and incredibly popular - appliance that helps create healthier versions of the fried foods you love. The popularity is because it''s a new way to be healthier. The air fryer works like a convection oven and sits on your countertop. It uses circulating hot air - and some oil if you choose - to cook and crisp the food in the basket inside. You can use it without adding any oil, or you can add a little, which Plotkin says generally amps up the flavor. You''ll also want to be careful not to overdo it. The air fryer is a healthier alternative to deep-frying, but that doesn''t make it the healthiest cooking method around. Cleveland Clinic cautions that air frying might result in people thinking it''s okay to eat fried food more frequently than they should. In this wonderful guide, you will find many delicious and affordable recipes to take the advantage of your fantastic appliance. What are you still waiting for? Grab your copy now!

It''s okay though, because we''ve always been close and I think I''m going to have fun living with him again. That is until I meet Cooper... Turns out, my brother has very strong opinions on the idea of me dating his best friend and is dead set against it. My brother is right--I should stay away from Cooper James and his pretty blue eyes. He''s the opposite of what I need right now. Nah--who am I kidding? I''m going for it.The Off Limits Rule is a closed door romance, perfect for readers who love lots of sizzle but no explicit content.

The Match

release date: May 30, 2020
The Match
From the New York Times bestselling author of Practice Makes Perfect comes an expanded edition of The Match—a charming romance novel about second chances and the healing power of love, with a never-before-seen chapter. Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it. Evie Jones has dedicated her life and very limited funds working for Southern Service Paws, the company that matched her with the love of her life: Charlie, a service dog trained to assist with her epilepsy. But it’s no secret that the company has been struggling to make ends meet. It’s up to her and her longtime mentor and boss to throw the fundraiser of the century to keep the doors open. Then Evie meets Jacob Broaden at a client consultation meeting. There are instant sparks—but not the good kind, because Jacob’s daughter set up the meeting without his knowledge. Ten-year-old Sam has been recently diagnosed with epilepsy, and has wanted a service animal ever since. While he had hesitations at first, it doesn’t take long for Jacob to be convinced that a service dog, and possibly Evie, with her magical, woodland-green eyes, might just be the best thing for him and his daughter. As Evie spends more time with Jacob and helps Sam find her perfect match with a lovable golden retriever named Daisy, she starts longing for something she’s never had before: a loving family. For Jacob, falling in love with Evie is the last thing he should be doing, but love has a way of finding those who need it most.

release date: Jan 01, 2020
Are Registered Nurses in Mississippi Participating in Practices that Advocate the Nursing Profession
Previous research studies have focused on patient outcomes related to healthcare interventions, but there is little research available regarding nurses'' involvement in activities that would advance the profession. The theoretical motivation behind the study is Ray''s Theory of Bureaucratic Caring that proposed healthcare personnel consider incorporation of the business aspects of healthcare to propel nursing into the future. Ray dared nurses to become leaders in the field, understand the corporate aspects of healthcare, evolve bedside nursing through research activity, and build future nurse leaders with political and mentorship works. The study considers characteristics Ray demanded nurses take to control the future of the profession and advance the nurse''s role in healthcare.

Early Childhood Development in Qatar

release date: Jan 01, 2017
Early Childhood Development in Qatar
Early childhood development (ECD) is a multidimensional process that takes place from conception until age five. These years mark the most important period for an individual''s development. In this period, the building blocks of the brain and nervous system are formed, and critical skills and capacities begin to develop across a number of interrelated domains (Nelson 2000). Despite this ample international evidence, the state of ECD in Qatar has thus far been understudied. Child development outcomes in Qatar are below what is expected given its level of economic development. Gaps in self-regulation skills persist, with a third of children ages three and four being unable to attend to, and focus on, simple tasks without being distracted easily. As a tripartite collaboration between the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) at Qatar Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar and the World Bank, this study begins to fill this gap by providing an overview of the state of ECD in Qatar and setting forward recommendations to strengthen ECD in the country. The report first analyzes ECD outcomes in Qatar, examining how Qatar fares in five ECD domains compared to other countries. Section two builds the evidence base in the Qatari context by testing whether specific ECD programs are associated with improved child outcomes in the country. Section three takes a systemic view, analyzing the policies that govern ECD in Qatar and offers recommendations for their enhancement. Finally, section four concludes with a summary of key policy recommendations and some considerations for their implementation.

Sink Or Swim

release date: Jan 01, 2016
Sink Or Swim
New York City, like other major cities around the world, has acknowledged the problem of climate change, undertaken a comprehensive risk assessment, created a suite of adaptation and mitigation planning initiatives, and begun to implement policies to decrease the city''s contribution to the problem and to make the city less vulnerable to the effects of climate change. This detailed analysis of the city''s climate change resilience initiatives concludes that, although many of the city''s initiatives provide a model for other coastal communities, the initiatives likely still fall short of what is required to sufficiently moderate harm from dangerous interference with the climate system. The city''s robust suite of initiatives put it ahead of the pack as compared to most other U.S. municipalities, especially with respect to comprehensive reform of zoning and building codes, integrated mitigation and adaptation planning, transparent climate change-related data analysis initiatives, and commitment to reduce GHG emissions 80% by 2050 from 2005 levels and progress toward that goal. However, the city also faces a host of wicked policy binds, ineffective regional structures, a lack of support at the federal level, and numerous conditions that constrain its ability to remain resilient. In light of this, the “toughness” theme that runs throughout the city''s plans risks undermining its robust data analysis and reporting initiatives by instilling in New Yorkers a false sense of security with respect to both the scope of the problem and their local government''s ability to protect them from it. The city faces an equally wicked policy bind with respect to waterfront development. Given the foreseeable risks of increasingly intensive and frequent coastal storms, flooding and storm surges, coastal municipalities must carefully evaluate their waterfront development policies to assure consistency with future climate risks and vulnerability and adopt regulations that curtail or eliminate waterfront development in high-risk areas, encourage or require relocation away from vulnerable areas, and take maximum advantage of opportunities to develop natural flood-mitigation infrastructure.
