The Condon-Argue Family
Descendants of William Condon (1815-1889) and Rosanna Hain (1827-1882). He was born in Ireland and emigrated from County Cork, Ireland through Canada to Michigan. He arrived in Michigan in 1839 and started buying and selling land. He married Rosanna Hain (1827-1882) in 1844. She was born in Clark County, Ohio and moved to Michigan with her family in 1831. Descendants of John Franklin Argue (1864-1931). He was born in Stittsville, Ont., Canada and immigrated to the United States sometime between 1880 and 1890. He renounced his Canadian citizenship in 1904 and became an American citizen. He married Charlotte Sayer (1863-1920). She was also a Canadian. This family lived in Gilmore Twp., Greene Co., Pennsylvania, Florence and Boulder, Colorado, and at Bald Hill, Oklahoma near Tulsa. Descendants live in Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Pennsylvania, California and elsewhere.
