This book contains answers to all of the chapter questions in the student text and the disk contains further solutions, advice to teachers, and database, spreadsheet and word-processing files. It also contains VCE course advice to be used in conjunction with the information technology study design and CDSM. The word-processed documents are in Word for Windows V2.0 format and are also included as plain text files. The spreadsheets are saved as Excel V4.0 files and also in a Works V2.0 format which will work for both Windows and DOS versions of Works. The database programming language used is Dbase III and the programming language used for the programs is Turbo Pascal V5.5.

There were four Cowan brothers who were born in Ulster in the late 1600s and early 1700s. These four brothers emigrated from Newry Port in about 1720. They arrived with other Scots-Irish in Pennsylvania and settled in Chester County. Descendants of Hugh, David, John and William Cowan live in Pennsylvania and other parts of the United States.
