For one fleeting moment, Max was together with her original Chloe again. Holding onto the memory tightly, Max pleaded to Chloe to wait for her… until she was woken in her new reality. The lucid dream put such a strong hold on Max that even urgent texts from Tristan hadn’t stirred her. Meanwhile, Rachel prepared for her upcoming Hamlet tour. Mulling over the death of her character, Ophelia, Rachel’s mind was plagued with thoughts of the death of her counterpart from Max’s reality. Chloe introduced Rachel to their new mode of transport, and home when they’re touring – Gladys. Tristan showed Max a newspaper that revealed Max had arrived in this timeline the day that Tristan got his powers. He offered the photo could be a way for her to jump back and rewind all that had happened, but Max refused to sacrifice him. Meanwhile, Tristan’s attempt to phase from one string of time to the next led to a vision of another Chloe, from another reality. Is this the Chloe that Max is trying to return to? As swiftly as the vision appeared, she vanished…

After seeing Tristan’s powers in action before their eyes, Max used the opportunity to tell them the truth about everything, from the storm, to Chloe’, to Max’s time travel powers. Max was honest with Chloe and Rachel, and herself, for the first time since she arrived and explained she wanted to go home, if that’s even possible. Later, escaping to watch The High Seas band practice, to get her mind off of Max’s world-shattering news, Rachel learned that the band was hitting the same venue as her action tour, and Chloe announced that she was coming with her. Meanwhile, down on the beach, Tristan attempted to practice a power he still barely understands. He disengaged for a moment – but what was he trying to do?

After being torn away from her world, time traveller Max found a reality where Rachel Amber was still alive, and with Chloe Price. As time passed, Max continued to struggle to adjust. Chloe has been working in a garage, while picking up her first commission as a sculptor. Rachel, who’s a live streamer and influencer, as well as aspiring actor, ahs been offered a touring theatrical gig that will take her away from home for six months. Max met the mysterious Tristan, a young man living on the streets, who seemingly has the power to disappear at will. Detailing the night his ability manifested, Tristan explained how he saw his best friend get shot when a drug deal when bad. His friend’s final words cursed Tristan for abandoning him, even though Tristan was right there… invisible. Later, at a party, Rachel’s friend overdosed. When Max stepped out to call an ambulance, she saw Tristan get shot by the same dealers who shot his friend. Instinctively Max reached out and rewound time. By using her power, Max saved both Tristan and Rachel’s friend, but ended up getting caught by the drug dealers. A joint effort from Tristan, Chloe and Rachel saved Max from a horrible fate. With the drug dealers brought to justice, Max made the decision to talk to Chloe and Rachel and tell them the truth of her past…

Tristan told his tory to Max – during a drug deal gone bad, his powers kicked in, and he phased away, just when his friend needed him the most. In the chaos, the cops closed in and Tristan’s friend was shot, his final words cursed Tristan for abandoning him… even though Tristan was there the whole time. Max realized the significance of finding another person with powers, however, Chloe felt betrayed that Max found it easier to talk to Tristan than to her and Rachel. Later, at Callie’s influencer party, Callie overdosed, and while Rachel and Chloe ran to her aid, Max ducked outside to call 911…
